2. MLM (Multi-Layer Media)

LANTEC'S MLM is efficient and cost-effective heat-recovory media for Resenerative Thermal Oxidization (RTO) systems. Operating data confirms that LANTEC'S new MLM (Multi-Layer Media) is the first substantial improvement over 1" saddles and monolith in decades. The new MLM outperforms all other ceramic media in heat exchange, energy efficiency, pressure drop, and reducing capital and operating costs. MLM has been field and laboratory tested, and the results have been outstanding. MLM heats up and cools down faster; compared with saddles, the thin, layerd shape of MLM has much more of its material within 1mm for the surface. Also, because of the inter-connected channels (as opposed to isolated single channels in monolith) gas flows in all directions. This will enhance heat transfer as well as reduce plugging tendencides.
